Ingredients:

1. Small pinch of baking soda

In a small bowl, mash a strawberry well then you want to mix in the baking soda. Make sure you are using a damp toothbrush, then brush the mix onto your teeth. Leave it on your teeth for five minutes, then rinse your mouth, brush and floss as normal.
*Try doing this twice a week until you achieve your desired results.

DIY Hydrogen Peroxide + Baking Soda Paste

In a small jar or air tight container, combine the hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Mix them together to form a smooth, thick paste. This paste can last for up two weeks if you store it in an airtight container anywhere for up to two weeks.

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons hydrogen peroxide
2 tablespoons baking soda

After brushing and flossing your teeth as you normally would, wet your toothbrush and apply a small amount of this paste (cover the bristles). Then brush your teeth for two minutes, avoid the gums, as this can lighten them as well. Now rinse the toothbrush and brush your teeth with clean water for two more minutes. Rinse your mouth with warm water.
*Do this one two times per week, until you reach your desired shade. Then reduce usage, and do this only one to three times per month.

OMG I Need To Plan My Wedding (Part 2)

If you haven’t seen my first post on OMG I JUST GOT ENGAGED check it out because I highlight the early stages of finding out you just got engaged.

  1. So if you haven’t already picked a color for wedding you may want to consider what flowers are in season. The date of your wedding determines the colors that are available to you based on the available flower colors. So if you are in love with Peony flowers they are only in bloom April to very early June.
  2. Once you have determined how many people are coming to your wedding you need to think about your wedding as a per table cost. This allows you to determine how much money you want to allocate per person and you can start shopping for catering.
  3. No matter where you are in the wedding process start writing down your ideas and keep track of your favourite websites so that you have everything accessible.

Beauty Tips

Getting your face ready for a wedding or a bridal shower is essential and it starts with some basic homemade products and tips.

1. You never want to spend more money than you think because it’s your wedding day, some of the best things you can use are right in your kitchen cupboard.

2. Find out what type of skin you have before you apply anything to your face.

Honey Face Mask for Scars and Dark Spots

Honey is great skin product to use on your face as it provides healing properties

2 teaspoons of raw honey

1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Combine the lemon juice and honey, and apply the mixture to your face. Allow it to sit for 20-30 minutes. Lemon juice exfoliates your skin, brightens dark spots and fades scars. Your skin will feel smooth and soft right away, but it may take a few applications to notice a real difference in scars and spots.
